As the United Arab Emirates (UAE) continues its rapid ascent as a global hub for space exploration and high-tech manufacturing—driven by initiatives like "Operation 300bn" and the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC)—the demand for advanced material science has never been higher. At the heart of this technological revolution lies Kovar (ASTM F15 / 4J29), an iron-nickel-cobalt alloy engineered for precision and reliability.
Kovar is indispensable in the UAE's harsh environmental conditions. The extreme thermal fluctuations of the Arabian desert and the vacuum of space require materials that can maintain hermetic seals with borosilicate glass and ceramic components. Our Kovar (4J29) package shells provide the critical infrastructure for the UAE’s burgeoning satellite communications (SatCom), military defense systems, and high-frequency 5G networking infrastructure.
Founded in November 2014, Xinyunyang has established itself as a premier global supplier of Kovar precision processing. We adhere to the principles of Integrity, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sharing. Our core focus is providing miniaturized, customized, and high-reliability metal packaging solutions for the most demanding industries.
With our deep roots in Chinese manufacturing excellence and a global outlook, we serve as a strategic partner for UAE enterprises seeking high-end hermetic package lids and Kovar alloy components that meet international standards (ISO 9001 certified).
Our core members have been deeply engaged in precision metal processing for over a decade, specializing in complex alloys like Kovar and Titanium.
Utilizing intelligent production scheduling, we have increased delivery speed for regular orders by 15-20% for our Middle Eastern clients.
Our quality management systems ensure that every package shell delivered to Abu Dhabi or Dubai meets rigorous aerospace-grade specs.
Kovar (4J29) is a controlled-expansion alloy consisting of 29% Nickel, 17% Cobalt, and the remainder Iron. Its Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) is specifically designed to match that of borosilicate glasses (such as Pyrex) and alumina ceramics. This is vital in the UAE, where electronic modules might face 50°C surface temperatures in the sun and -50°C in high-altitude aviation environments.
Standard metals would expand and contract at different rates than the glass seals, leading to cracks and seal failure. Kovar’s unique metallurgical property ensures that the hermetic seal remains airtight, protecting sensitive semiconductors from the humid, salt-laden air of the Arabian Gulf.
Technical ConsultOur facility in China serves as the "Global Factory" for the UAE's high-tech ambitions. By bridging the gap between China’s massive manufacturing capacity and the UAE’s strategic demand, we offer several unique advantages:
Proximity to major shipping hubs like Shenzhen and Guangzhou allows us to utilize the robust maritime and air freight corridors to Jebel Ali Port (Dubai) and Khalifa Port (Abu Dhabi). We ensure rapid transit times for custom CNC parts.
We provide full documentation for UAE customs and regulatory bodies, including RoHS compliance, ESG-validated sourcing, and conflict-free material certifications essential for military and government contracts.
Hermetic shells for transponders and sensors used in CubeSats developed by UAE universities and space agencies.
Ruggedized housing for RF microwave modules, ensuring reliable operation for the UAE's integrated defense systems.
Precision components for X-ray and CT scan equipment in high-end hospitals across Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
